Bali: Where to Go and What to Do

Bali offers a rich culture that can bring new experiences for all kinds of visitors. From flower-petal offerings that you will see everywhere during your visit to the processions of the locals, Bali has something for everyone.

When you add world-class beaches, warm weather and incredible sunsets, terrific surfing, excellent dining and shopping, Bali become really hard to beat as a destination for your next vacation.

Here are some ideas for you to use when you get to Bali.

Spend your first day by surfing or learning how to surf at Kuta Beach. If surfing is not your thing, you can find a yoga school and try some yoga. When the sun is high in the sky, go to Kuta Beach or Double Six beach. If you want, you can also avoid the sun and do some shopping instead in Seminyak.

At night, enjoy some sunset drinks on the beach. Buy your drinks from a vendor at Legian beach who are supposed to be one of the best. On your second day, explore the culture of Bali. Wake up early to avoid the crowd and go to Pura Luhur Batukau. There you will find a magnificent temple located on the slopes of a volcano. When you are done, enjoy views of the rice plantations of Jatiluwih. Then, head to Ubud.

Your Bali experience will not be complete without a traditional dance show, many of which are available in Ubud. Choose a dance performance that you like and enjoy the precise movements of the dancers and their exquisite dresses. Finally, go to a nice dinner at a restaurant like Locavore.
